Welcome to Jolly Alchemy, a cozy haven perched at the intersection of science and magic. Here, the goal is to help us all unlock the extraordinary potential within, transforming us from mere shadow into a vibrant spark of life.
Here at Jolly Alchemy, we specialize in elevating spirits and dispelling those nagging fears that flit about like wayward butterflies. If you’re ready to discover your inner humun—a delightful fusion of human and hummingbird—read on! Below, you’ll find how the ever-enthusiastic Rebecca Jolli can guide you on your journey through the enchanting tapestry of life. After all, every grand adventure begins with a single step—or perhaps a spirited leap into the unknown!
In the bustling realm of Jolly Alchemy, the air is thick with the scent of herbal tea and the faint sound of enlightenment brewing. Here, individuals and couples embark on sessions designed for self-discovery, or at least a decent cup of chamomile. The Jolly Alchemist opens up her sewing box, stuffed full of helpful learning and healing modalities:
First, there’s Humun Design (Human Design, but better) an elaborate contraption that reveals one’s true essence—buried under layers of societal expectations like a stubborn potato in a garden of carrots. “It’s not about who you think you should be; it’s about who you’re electrically designed to be,” the practitioners explain, as if determining whether you’re a toaster or an ambitious kettle.
Next comes the Emotion Code, a clever bit of basic wizardry that enlists the subconscious to rummage through emotional baggage. “Heal enough,” they say, “and you might fill your potential, or at least find a cozy spot on the couch to contemplate existence.” The Emotion Code magic is only topped by The Body Code and The Belief Code, healing magic that moves from the leaves, through the trunk and into the root of emotional blockages.
Then there’s Permaculture, a practical approach to structuring the world for the benefit of all life. It’s about creating a harmonious ecosystem, much like a well-rehearsed orchestra, but with more worms and fewer violins.
And, of course, Quantum Physics suggests the universe is stranger than anyone imagines. “It’s time to face our fears and abandon survival strategies based on fear,” the enthusiasts declare. “Let’s embrace love for all humuns and life, which is quite ambitious considering how many can’t even love their neighbors’ cats.”
In the whimsical corridors of Jolly Alchemy, you discover that understanding yourself—and perhaps the universe—is less about finding answers and more about enjoying the delightful absurdity of the questions.
Prepare yourself for an individual Humun Design Reading that lasts at least an hour, costing a modest $120—unless, of course, you possess a coupon, engage in a work trade, or happen to sign up during one of our metaphysical fair booths, where the air is thick with incense and the promise of satori.
For a typical first reading, the client has already amassed several hundred dollars’ worth of free information by signing up for a free account at 64keys.com. By this point, they’ve delved into the depths of their personal questions and identified those curious areas where the information seems to go on holiday, which, as it turns out, are the very spots where our work together begins. If it seems totally wrong for you (assuming we know your birth time) then it’s probably just exactly the right place to start digging!
The types of information a client can expect to receive in an initial session are:
- Background/history on Human Design, or references to learn more about it
- Type, Strategy and Authority...and what that means
- An overview of channel roles, particular challenges of open centers, and a beginning explanation of how the body’s energy moves through the body graph
- A beginning look at bridge gates, circuitry, profile, split charts, cross gates and life mission, and relevant symmetries, like whether or not the provocation saddle is present
- A start at rectifying charts without known birth times
- Time to answer specific questions, like optimal environment or how to achieve optimal digestion and include necessary amino acids indicated by the bodygraph
Individual coaching sessions can also be focused on the Genius Report and the relevant business applications for Human Design. Rebecca is available for individual sessions both in-person and remotely.
If you find yourself wishing to share a session with your partner, or perhaps trying to save a few coins by roping in a friend, brace yourself for a joint Humun Design Reading that lasts at least an hour and costs a mere $120—unless, of course, you possess a coupon, engage in a work trade, or happen to sign up during one of our metaphysical fair booths, where the air is thick with the scent of incense and the promise of cosmic revelations.
For a typical first partnership reading, the clients have already amassed several hundred dollars’ worth of free information about their personal charts by signing up for a free account at 64keys.com or by having individual sessions first. By this point, they’ve explored the depths of their personal questions and are ready to face relationship queries. This is where we start to explore how Humun Design gets really freaky—in the interpersunal interactions!
The types of information that clients can expect to receive in an initial joint reading are:
- An overview of the individual charts and basic HD concepts
- An examination of the interaction chart—how each persun will tend to feel when inside the aura of the other, and the differences between being together and apart
- An identification of common ground, including shared roles, interests and energies
- An exploration of attractions and frictions in the joint chart, so partners can accept themselves and the other rather than hoping for impossible changes
- A discovery of collaborative potential within the relationship—what these two people can do together that neither can do alone.
Jolly Alchemy, that delightful bastion of wisdom and whimsy, is set to unveil a series of workshops toward the end of 2025, much to the anticipation of those who have been waiting with eager hearts and perhaps a slightly over-steeped cup of herbal tea. But fret not, for before that grand unveiling, a weekly virtual beginner’s class in Human Design will spring to life at the beginning of April. This is a virtual class, so newcomers are welcome, anytime. Leap in at your leisure, catch up, get live support and answers about what’s alive in you, like a floaty perpetually in your eye.
The first class will be free, and subsequent classes will be discounted at $10 each. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact Rebecca directly at info@jollyalchemy.com.
Humun Design is a rather splendid system that helps us navigate the labyrinthine journey to our true selves, illuminating the distinction between the parts of us that are intrinsic—like the unique flavor of a well-aged cheese—and those that are merely the result of outside conditioning forces, much like a painting that has been covered in spots by the brushstrokes of others.
However, let’s not mistake Humun Design for a “one and done” sort of endeavor. No, it’s more akin to a treasure map, intricately drawn and filled with symbols, guiding us through the complexities of our individuality in a concise code—think of it as a wiring harness for a race car, if you will.
As it turns out, we’re all race cars, each one custom-ordered and uniquely built, which means we require a bespoke design diagram to truly understand the mechanics of the human experience. That’s the beauty of Humun Design: it’s intricate enough to capture the rich tapestry of human individuality in exquisite detail, yet straightforward enough that we can begin to decipher the code with some vital clues right from the start, beginning with our energetic types. So, buckle up, dear reader, for an enlightening ride into the depths of your own design awaits!
The Emotion Code, the Body Code, and the latest addition, the Belief Code, form a delightful toolkit for helping humans navigate the emotional labyrinth we all have buried deep within ourselves. But why, you may ask, do we all harbor these hidden emotions? Humun Design offers some intriguing insights into that conundrum, but to put it succinctly, emotions are a relatively recent upgrade for our avatars, and as anyone who’s ever tried to assemble flat-pack furniture knows, the effects of these emotions on our delicate systems can be nothing short of overwhelming—and occasionally catastrophic.
The Emotion Code and its companions are indeed helpful tools, and I heartily recommend them to anyone with feelings—so, everyone, really. However, there’s a slight hitch: this method requires each user to master the art of muscle testing. Now, I’m all in favor of muscle testing, but the reason it hasn’t achieved widespread fame, imo, is that it’s not exactly a walk in the park; there’s a rather sharp learning curve involved.
Bradley Nelson, the author of the Emotion Code, mentions in his courses that one can use a pendulum for muscle testing, but he doesn’t delve into the details or teach folks how to wield these mystical swinging devices. Naturally, he prefers to focus on the muscle testing techniques, which is all well and good, but I believe that showing people how to tap into the wisdom of the subconscious mind with a pendulum is much easier and requires far less commitment for beginners. So, that’s precisely what I do.
I offer a delightful array of magnetic and non-magnetic pendulums, each crafted from polymer clay in one-of-a-kind designs. The magnetic pendulums are particularly handy for locating trapped emotions, and the embedded magnets ensure that the same tool can also assist in releasing those pesky emotional blockages. Additionally, I create custom pendulums for dowsers and those who prefer their pendulums to be free of magnetism, because, after all, variety is the spice of life!
Chinese Astrology and Face Reading dovetail nicely with Human Design, as they both have a large basis in the wisdom of the IChing. Of course there are many versions of Eastern Astrology, but my version is a 9-ki system, which means that the system has 9 basic variations, or elements.
These elements are:
1. Water
2. Soft Earth
3. Hard Wood
4. Soft Wood
5. Vortex Earth
6. Hard Metal
7. Soft Metal
8. Hard Earth
9. Fire
So we end up with one water, one fire, two woods, two metals, and three earths. They can be written around a ring, just like the IChing hexagrams, and the ring model explains resonances and dissonances in the elements, as well as how they affect other elements.
A Chinese Astrology reading is a curious affair, much like trying to decipher the intentions of a particularly enigmatic squirrel. It includes a face reading, since astrology can only sketch out the broad outlines of possibility. The reason for this is simple: when we stop engaging in our persunal work—or, as I sometimes put it, when we stop getting busy living and start perfecting the art of existential inertia—we can end up as broken as a clock that’s stuck reading 10:10. The path to health and happiness, however, tends to mirror the “destiny” path outlined in the astrological reading, much like how a well-trodden path in a garden leads to the most vibrant blooms.
Now, the record maintained by our faces is where the real intrigue lies, adding the necessary nuance to any Chinese Astrology reading. Our faces, while they broadly support the information from astrology, also reveal the results of our life’s escapades—like the faint scars of past adventures that tell tales of mischief and mayhem.
Take the ears, for instance. They can reveal the events of our childhood years (ages 1 to 12) that still echo through our lives, much like the persistent sound of a distant drum. These experiences can continue to impact us until we face and resolve them, much like how a particularly stubborn riddle will remain unsolved until someone finally decides to give it a good pondering. So, prepare for a reading that promises to be as enlightening as it is entertaining, with just the right amount of cosmic mischief sprinkled in!
strokes of personality trends—or what the Chinese charmingly refer to as “destiny.” I prefer to think in terms of, “If I’m doing my personal work in this life, what delightful detours will it lead me on?”
Basic information from a Chinese Astrology reading falls into three categories: how we tend to act/feel in our basic personalities, how we tend to act/feel under stress, and the direction are lives will head if we are doing the work to grow up.
Other information that can be seen from a Chinese Astrology reading:
- basic health issues
- yearly cycles that can help us understand our energy advice on when to take certain life steps like moving or starting new business
- advice for how our individual bodies can deal with stress
- upcoming deadlines for dealing with past issues
I was a 27 year-old mother of two before I figured out that the life I had planned for myself as a child was in no way suited to my actual personality and needs. I soon became a single mother of two, graduated from religion, and started educating myself for a life that included magic (as I termed it then). I discovered Richard Bach, Jane Roberts’ Seth, Heinlein’s “Stranger in a Strange Land”, Tarot, Chinese Astrology and Face Reading, Non-Violent Communication (NVC), Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, my own channeling adventures, and many magical co-incidences that started turning into ever more serendipitous synchronicities.
By the time I was finishing with raising kids, I discovered quantum physics (NASA physicist Tom Campbell explains it well), and was thrilled to find that all along my bizarre path I had been doing science as well as magic! My journey has been characterized by the gift/burden of power-ups that western medicine wants to diagnose, but that I now understand as episodes of intense learning and experience. These “superpower” events give me a foreshadowing of abilities that some might call crazy or supernatural, but that I have come to see as giving me light on the dark path before us. I believe the world very much needs its shamans, and especially its shawimins, to lead us into the next phase of our world’s evolution. This new phase will be very much more about the inner experience than the community-building phase that we are seeing come to an end, and it is the facilitation of inner healing and growth that is my role in this avatar.
